Commonstro
What if the monster doesn’t live outside of us, but bubbles deep inside the body?
In Commonstro, a continuous metamorphosis takes place: five bodies lose themselves, transform, and find their way back. What begins as a quiet inner murmur bursts open into a physical eruption from within.
In his solo debut Monstrare/Monere (2021), Milø Slayers explored the boundary between human and monster. Where does the ‘normal’ body end, and where does the monstrous begin?
Four years later, he transforms that solo into a collective movement, born from an intensive masterclass with P.A.R.T.S. students. Milø guides five performers as they balance on the edge between control and surrender to the monster within. Their bodies explore a raw choreographic language that touches on intimacy and the power of monstrous ambiguity.
